What can I say?
I'm exhausted...and happy.
I had a hard time grasping the whole hybrid concept of the book. But I loved the fast-paced storytelling.
Uhm, Eva and Addie. Two souls in one body. A dominant and a recessive. I cannot hate Eva or Addie. I understand Eva's eagerness to be in control, and Addie's fear.
I know this sounds weird, but the book kinda reminded me of George Orwell's 1984 and Ned Vizzini's It's Kind of A Funny story. Maybe because of the whole struggle happening in Eva/Addie's mind...or the hospital setting. I kinda hate Mr. Conivent. He sounds cruel.
As for the next book, I still want to read it...I'm curious as to what would happen next, to the other kids, and to Eva and Addie. More like I'm curious as to who is Addie's love interest. Jackson? Hahaha
