I was so excited to read this book since I've read about it on my Recommendations. And as much as I want to give this a 5, or a 4, I just can't.
There were so many times when I felt like this:
I really have issues with stories written in first person point of views. The person telling the story should NOT only be likable, but interesting enough. Unfortunately, Julie has a lot of issues and her rants are sometimes just so damn annoying. Good thing, Jason was always there to lighten things up.
I think what saved this book from my total disappointment was the Stratford-upon-Avon kiss scene...and the last chapter.
Oh my goodness, THAT last chapter. It was redemption. Haha
So, yeah. I enjoyed the book. For real. Though it was a bit short of what I expected from it, I don't actually regret reading it, or think that it was a total waste of time. I had fun. And that's what matters most. Right?
